About Greenhouse Ireland

We are a well-established company that have gained a wealth of experience over many years and strive to meet the needs of our clients. Our construction technicians are full time employed members of staff who take pride in their work.

We hope that you will enjoy using this website to research and price our Greenhouses.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like any further information or if you need anything else to help you in your quest for the right Greenhouse.

We found that standard cheap Greenhouses on the market are not robust enough for the extremes of weather that have now become common. We looked for Greenhouses that would better stand up to the inclement conditions and found Janssens Greenhouses of Belgium.

Similarly, we had enquiries from clients looking for very high quality Victorian style Greenhouses and we established a very strong relationship with Griffin Greenhouse in the UK who make beautiful bespoke Greenhouses for discerning clients who can afford and demand excellence.

Our Greenhouse range are made from superior materials, better design and attention to detail – Just a few reasons to buy your Greenhouse at Greenhouse Ireland.

"Delivery"

If our construction service is being provided our constructors take care of the logistical arrangments of getting the materials to the site. They need reasonable and safe access to do so.

We deliver in a vehicle about the size of a home heating oil delivery lorry which is fitted with a tail lift. For most Greenhouse models the driver will use a hand operated 'pallet truck' to take a tall pallet of glass off the lorry and there will be a couple of long boxes containing the frame to be lifted off. We would ask that you provide someone to assist offloading the boxes.

The driver's pallet truck (used to move the pallet of glass) can go onto reasonably level concrete, tarmac or paving – but it won't move on gravel or grass (or up steep slopes). Our delivery service is basically to the roadside or wherever the driver can access with his pallet truck.

Some models (the Modern, the Arcadia Plus Lean-to, and the Gigant) have large ‘A frame’ pallets which cannot be offloaded using the tail lift. If you have or get get a forklift (or teleporter with forks) to lift off the A frame pallet great, if not the contents of the pallet will need to be offloaded by hand. Offloading by hand is a two person job - we would ask you to assist our driver with this but if you cannot please let us know in advance and we will cost in bringing a second person to facilitate offloading.

If you do not have access for a vehicle the size of a home heating oil delivery lorry please consult with us and we will investigate possible alternatives with you (such as possibly delivering in a smaller vehicle). In some situations this might involve an extra cost being incurred.
